Today Counts
Terms of Service — Today Counts
Effective date: 2026-09-15
Last updated: 2026-09-15
These terms are the agreement between you and Greenvine Cloud LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we", "us"), for your use of the Today Counts app. By using the app, you agree to them.
1. Who can use it
You need to be old enough to hold an Apple Account and to enter an agreement where you live. If you are using the app under a parent's or guardian's Apple Account, they accept these terms on your behalf.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Today Counts on devices you own or control, in line with Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell it, rent it, reverse-engineer it, or strip out its notices. This is a licence, not a sale of the software itself.
3. Your habits are yours
Everything you enter — habit names, notes, schedules and history — belongs to you. We claim no ownership and no licence over it. As set out in the Privacy Policy, it is stored on your device. (A future version may mirror it to your own private iCloud database; that is switched off in this one.) We do not hold a copy, which also means we cannot recover it for you. Device backups — iCloud Backup or a computer — are how you keep it safe.
4. Purchases
Today Counts gives you full access free for 7 days from first launch. After that, continuing to use it requires a one-time purchase, not a subscription — nothing recurs and nothing auto-renews. The purchase is shared through Family Sharing where Apple supports it.
All purchases are made through Apple. Apple handles billing and refunds, not us. Refund requests go to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, under their policies. If a purchase does not unlock, email support@todaycounts.app and we will help you restore it — Settings → Restore Purchases is the usual fix.
Prices may change for future purchases. A change never affects something you have already bought.
5. This is a habit tracker, not health advice
Today Counts records what you tell it. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical, health, psychological, or professional advice. Do not use it to diagnose, treat, or manage a medical condition, and do not use it in place of a qualified professional. If you are tracking anything tied to your health — medication among it — the app is a memory aid and nothing more. Never rely on it as your only reminder for medication or any other health-critical routine. Notifications can be delayed, silenced by Focus modes, or missed entirely by the operating system, and that is outside our control.
6. What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep Today Counts functioning, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that or that notifications will always arrive on time. If a future version enables iCloud mirroring, that will depend on Apple's services, your network and your iCloud account, and we cannot promise it is immediate.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
7. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for it, or USD $100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost data, or for a missed habit, routine, or reminder.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9 survive.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the venue for any dispute is Colorado. A consumer outside Colorado keeps whatever mandatory rights their own jurisdiction gives them; nothing here is intended to remove those.
The app is not offered in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland (see the Privacy Policy) — the territory exclusion is what keeps this clause workable.
10. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Today Counts. Apple is, however, a third-party beneficiary and may enforce them. If the app fails to conform to a warranty Apple provides, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the effective date and say so in the app. Continuing to use Today Counts after that means you accept the updated terms.
